Repair Process

3 Care

Step 1: Call in mobile for fault evaluation.
Step 2: Mobile logged & Service Requisition number issued.
Step 3: Mobile taken to 3 Service or 3 Store for transfer.(Loan phone issued).
Step 4: Repaired mobile sent back to 3 Store. Customer notified.
Step 5: Repaired mobile returned to customer at 3 Store. (Loan phone returned)

3 Service

Step 1: Call in mobile for fault evaluation.

While you wait feel free internet access, and account services such as:

  • Billing enquiries
  • Mobile phoneand Mobile Broadband demonstrations
  • Upgrade options

Step 2: Repaired mobile returned to customer.

3 Store

Step 1: Call in mobile for fault evaluation.
Step 2: Mobile logged & Service Requisition number issued.
Step 3: Mobile sent to 3 Service Centre.(Loan phone issued).
Step 4: Repaired mobile arrives back at 3 Store. Customer notified.
Step 5: Repaired mobile returned to customer at 3 Store. (Loan phone returned)

Time taken*

*Subject to manufacturers parts being available. 3 Service do not repair certain handset manufacturers. In such cases your repair time may vary.

  • We aim to repair your handset within 1 day* when you visit '3 Service'
  • We aim to repair your handset within 1 week* when you drop off your handset to a '3 Store'

What do I need to bring?

  • A copy of your "Proof of Purchase" ( Contact 3 Care on 133 320 or simply login to My3 Online to get a copy) or your contract.
  • Your mobile phone and any accessories that relate to the fault of your mobile.

Do I need to do anything before I come in?

Yes, you will need to backup the following:

  • Phone numbers
  • Videos
  • Music files
  • Images/photos

All content will be erased from your phone.

How long will it take?

  • Our aim is to repair your mobile in 1 day* at 3 Service.
  • You can drop it off at your local 3 Store and we'll aim to repair it within 1 week.
  • To keep you connected we'll even lend you a mobile phone whilst your handset is in repairs.^

*3 Service do not repair certain handset manufacturers. In such cases your repair time may vary from above.
^Loan handsets are subject to availability and do not apply to pre-paid customers.
