What is Foursquare?
Foursquare is on its way to becoming the most popular social game on mobiles across the world. It lets you share your city adventures and tips with the people around you. Check-in to cafes, restaurants and almost anywhere else to earn your special badges along the way. Check-in to the same place the most, and you’ll become mayor of that location! Mayors and frequent visitors can also get surprise discounts from some venues.
How does it work?
To check-in to a location, you need to physically go there. Then simply log-in to Foursquare on your mobile to check-in. You can post what you’re doing there and share it with your friends using Facebook®, Twitter or your address book.
How can I get it?
Simply download the App by sending a FREE SMS with the word ‘foursquare’ to 336699 on your 3 mobile. Foursquare requires you to go online with your mobile, so we recommend you sign up to a Mobile Internet Pack if you haven’t already done so.
