Unfortunately, 3 Prepaid doesn't currently support international roaming.
Yes, international calling is available on prepaid services. And what's more you can use up to $100 of your Cap services credit to make international calls!
When making an international call on prepaid make sure you have enough international call credit available to make a minimum 3-minute call.

When you are using the Vodafone network in Australia, you'll see the '3' symbol on your mobile and will be charged your standard rates for voice, video and data.
When you're outside of Vodafone network coverage areas, and if roaming is available to you in these areas, your mobile screen will display "Roaming" or "R" (in addition, you may also see an 'H', '3G' or '3' symbol on your phone's screen to indicate connection to 3G). Roaming charges apply - check our Prepaid pricing information.
If you're experiencing technical difficulties with your mobile, please call 3 Prepaid Care on 13 19 21. We'll help you to determine the problem. If you contact us within 14 days of buying your new 3 Prepaid mobile and your handset is found to be faulty, it can be replaced at the store you purchased it from. After 14 days from purchase, your mobile can be sent for repair at an authorised repair centre.

No, you must be using the Vodafone network within Australia when making a standard national voice call to another 3 mobile to be eligible to use your Free Talk allowance. Don't forget – ensure your keep your mobile recharged regularly as your service will expire if you don't recharge at least once every 6 months.
You will receive an SMS alert when your balance hits $10 on your cap or bonus plan. If you have set up an auto recharge, you'll receive an SMS alert confirming when payment has been taken.
Low credit value warnings are automatically sent to you via SMS when your credit falls to $10. You can visit my.three.com.au to set up an "auto recharge" using your credit card.
You can choose to set a low balance level to $5, $10 or $15 and automatically recharge your credit on the Cap or Bonus plan you select. Or you can set an automatic recharge to take place on a certain day each month that suits you.
When you set up your auto recharge you'll get an SMS alert to let you know if your auto recharge payment was successful or not.
You can swap between the two different plan types simply by purchasing the desired recharge amount, which is linked to the plan type. The recharge amounts dictate what type of plan you will be using.
The $30, $50 and $100 recharges are for Bonus plans and the $29, $49, $69 and $99 are for the Cap plans. As an example, if you're currently on a Prepaid Bonus plan, you can switch to a Prepaid Cap simply by purchasing a $29 voucher.
The $10 and $20 recharge amounts used for Planet 3 recharges are "plan neutral" and will not trigger a rate plan change. It is important to note a change in rate plan may result in a loss of credit or free units. If you are currently using a prepaid Bonus plan and switch to a Cap plan, you will lose the free units (such as free SMS and free 3 to 3 calls) associated with the Bonus plan.
If you are on a Cap plan and move to a Bonus plan, you will forfeit your unused Cap credit (as this Cap credit is incompatible with the Bonus plan).
When switching from a Bonus to a Prepaid Cap any remaining Bonus free unit allocation will not be rolled over. If you switch from a Cap to a Bonus plan any remaining Cap service credit will be not be rolled over.
The last recharge determines the plan and therefore the call rates of the prepaid service. The rates are effective immediately after recharge.

All Prepaid Caps have a Cap service inclusion, enabling you to use up to $10 of your Cap credit to download ringtones, watch Mobile TV, buy a value pack or download your favourite game or use premium services. If you need more credit for accessing Planet 3 or premium services, get $10 or $20 Planet 3 Add-on Vouchers any time!
No. These vouchers are purely for Planet 3 usage only and cannot be used for voice or messaging. A $10 or $20 Planet 3 Add-on Voucher allows you to access all the fun stuff like mobile games, music, ringtones and Mobile TV on Planet 3.
Vouchers don't expire and you can redeem them at any time online, via your 3 mobile, or over the phone by calling 2224. However, once you recharge, a credit expiry period will apply based on the recharge voucher purchased.

Planet 3 Add On – 180 day expiry
Yes, provided you recharge within the credit expiry period of your prepaid Cap, or Planet 3 Add-on voucher, or your Bonus plan expiry period. Your service credit will roll over with your next recharge.
The maximum credit value that can be rolled over is $3,000.
The credit expiry time is set from the moment that the recharge is activated on the account. You can always check out your credit expiry dates via My 3 on your handset or online via www.my.three.com.au.
Yes. For example, if you recharge within 30 days of your existing Cap, with a $29 Cap, any unused Cap service credit will roll over, and the 30 day expiry begins again.
Yes, you can still receive incoming video and voice calls and text messages for six months. You will still be able to make emergency calls. If you don't use your service for 6 months from the last recharge, your service will be disconnected.
If you do not recharge for 6 months, your service will be cancelled and cannot be reactivated
If you do not recharge for 6 months, the service will be cancelled and cannot be reactivated. You will be advised 10 days before the service is due to be cancelled and will need to recharge to avoid disconnection. Recharging with a Planet 3 Add-on voucher will not be sufficient to keep your service active. You must recharge using a Cap or Bonus plan.

Your available add-on voucher credit will always be used first. Once this has been depleted, any further usage will then be deducted from your cap allowance.

As your recharge gives you automatic access to the Mobile Internet for you to use, to activate Mobile Weblock, contact customer care on 131921 and they will arrange for this to be removed.
The pack will automatically renew itself when the month is up. If you don't have credit that can be used for content purchases at the time, the pack will cancel and you will need to re-subscribe when you have recharged your account.

Aside from the data allowance, XSeries Essentials 5 and 8 include unlimited access to your Planet 3 essentials – so it's great value. Plus, you get unlimited Facebook and MySpace with X-Series Essentials 8 within our regular Broadband Zones (if you have a compatible mobile).
At the moment, X-Series Essentials 5 and 8 are the only X-Series Internet Pack available to Prepaid customers. But stay tuned!

No. Mobile Internet packs are only for use within Australia on Vodafone's network. Data use while roaming is charged at the roaming rate defined by your last recharge (see above). To find out if you're roaming, check the indicator at the top of the screen.
It's up to you to decide whether you'd like to keep or cancel your Bumper or Info Pack. If you opt to cancel, you won't lose any benefits other than unlimited use of Finance.
You'll only be charged for any Passes and Packs you have that are wholly included in X-Series Essentials 5 or 8 for the remainder of the month (dating from the day you signed up).
To make the most of the expanded 3G coverage, look out for our new MEGA mobiles. With one of these you'll be able to get high-speed access, even when you're out of town.
