Can I access the Mobile Internet while roaming on my iPhone?: You can access the Mobile Internet on your iPhone anywhere within the 3 Broadband Zones. And the good news is that you can also access the Mobile Internet when you're outside these zones by Roaming. Just keep in mind that if you access the Mobile Internet when roaming, roaming data charges will apply. Check your plan for roaming charges, and upgrade to one of our Mobile Internet Packs for the best possible value.
Can I turn off data roaming?: There is a menu option on the iPhone to turn off Roaming. Please note, this option turns off International data roaming, not national data roaming.
How do I know when I'm nationally roaming?: You'll know you're roaming on your iPhone when you see an 'E' next to the signal bars.
Can my phone roam internationally?: Your iPhone 4 is ready for international roaming straight out of the box. You can choose to turn this setting off though by tapping through the below.
Settings > General > Network > Data Roaming > select 'OFF'
It seems like I have a slow Internet connection - why?: Your iPhone 4 can use 3's high-speed data network to access the Internet at impressive speeds (for those -who want the technical specs, this speed typically ranges between 600 and 1500kb/s). How do I access Planet 3?: To access Planet 3, open Safari (the iPhone's Internet browser), enter i.three.com.au into the URL address bar at the top of the screen, then tap the Go button.
How do I add Planet 3 to my home screen?: You can add Planet 3 to your Home Screen with by entering i.three.com.au into the URL address bar at the top of your Safari screen and select 'Go', tap the '+' symbol then choose 'Add to Home Screen'. Finalise this by tapping the 'Add' option.
What is Planet 3?: Planet 3 is a site that brings the coolest stuff from the Mobile Internet into one easy to use place. You can even manage your account information there. You'll get the most from your iPhone by regularly visiting Planet 3 and checking out the hottest Apps and sites available, as recommended by us.
How much data do I incur when I download apps?: The amount of data incurred when downloading an app varies from App to app, you'll be prompted on how much data each app will incur before you download it.
What are the limitations of downloading apps?: You may experience varied connection speeds depending on how large the apps are or where you are. Roaming charges also apply when you roam.

Is My 3 really completely free?: My 3 is completely free to use if you access it via i.three.com.au. However, if you access My 3 via the Mobile Internet on your handset, data charges will apply.
Will My 3 show my total data usage – from my Mobile Internet and Pack inclusions?: My 3 displays the data allowance, pack inclusions and your usage. It's updated daily for your convenience.

Can I contact 3 about support for my iPhone?: You can contact us on 133 320 or 131 921 if you're on Prepaid. Alternatively, head to the iPhone support area for online answers.
Does my iPhone come with warranty?: Your iPhone comes with a 12 month warranty from Apple.
What should I do if I need to repair my iPhone?: If your iPhone requires repairs, just take it to your nearest 3 Store and we'll help you with the repair process.
What is unbricking?: Unbricking or activating is done by simply plugging your iPhone into iTunes. Prior to this the iPhone is basically as useful as a brick (hence the name), all that can be done is make emergency calls (so be careful!). To unbrick an iPhone simply power on the device with a 3 USIM inserted and use the USB cable to plug the iPhone into a computer with iTunes open, the computer must have a connection to the internet. Unbricking only takes a few seconds and once complete the device will be ready to use.
What is iOS4.0?: iOS4.0 is the latest version of software that our iPhones will run on. This version of software offers several improvements to the iPhone which make it more 3! Improvements include the ability to cut/ copy/ paste text, stereo Bluetooth, MMS support, Spotlight search, voice memos and tethering.

Also it is best to charge when convenient and not to wait till the battery goes completely flat to recharge as this may harm the battery if done constantly.
