Connection

Access our network using your device.

Connection (Mobile)

The connection strength varies as you move between base stations (or towers). The signal may become weaker as the mobile moves further away from a tower and then become stronger again as you move closer to the next tower.

Likewise, 3 has a large network capacity but may become weaker when there are more mobiles or mobile broadband modems trying to access the network. This experience can be often felt in highly populated areas (such as stadiums) or during peak periods like Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Should you find it difficult connecting a call or service, try;

  • Switching your device off and then back on again.
  • Moving to an area where there are more bars.
  • If the problem persists, check if there are software downloads to help or
    take your handset to 3 Service.
