A cap works by 'capping' key services like national and international voice calls and SMS, national MMS, national and international video calls, voicemail, special numbers and the choice of news & info or sport pack, with a certain limit each month. For example, the $29 Cap allows you to make up to $180 worth of standard calls, video, SMS & MMS, international voice, video, SMS & MMS, voicemail, calls to 13, 15, & 18 numbers. Plus unlimited 3 to 3 standard voice calls within Australia on the $29 postpaid Cap & above.
At that point standard rates apply. So on the $29 Cap for example, standard rates apply once you've reached your $180 monthly Cap limit. See the Cap details table for standard rates.
With 3 on the $29 postpaid Cap and above you get unlimited 3 to 3 standard voice calls to everyone else on 3. For example, on the $29 Cap you get $180 worth of monthly value plus unlimited standard voice calls to everyone on 3, all day everyday!
The new Cap plans will not change your agreement with us in any way unless you choose to move to these new Cap plans.
Yes. You can change your plan using My 3 online or by calling 3 Care on 133 320, but can only go up and across not down.
Our new range of capped plans offer more capped inclusions as well as a content inclusion, but as with any other offer you should consider your personal needs prior to signing up. Some rates have changed and may not provide equal or better value depending on your usage.
Please choose carefully as once you move onto the New Caps, you cannot change back to your old Cap plans if you are not happy on the New Caps.
